as we went to bed last night, we noticed Pepper's (our beautiful golden marble Bengal) face was very swollen on one side, and further investigation revealed a horrible lump under her right jawbone, spreading across under her chin. We spent a very restless night worrying that she might have a tumour.

whizzed her over to the vet this morning, to find it's an abscess - huge relief.

Phew! One of ours is a bit under the weather, as a present on the stairs proved. Lovely thing to wake up to...NOT! Unfortuntely we're not sure which one of the cats was responsible! But they both ate breakfast okay this morning, so it can't be too serious...

Reminds of when Pebble had that big abcess before the solstice. I thought it was a dislocated hip...
