I live in Yorkshire (although not born here) and work with a lot of Yorkshire women who think his comment about Yorkshire women knowing their place and having a meal on the table when their lord and master gets home qualifies him for immediate castration without anaesthetic.

Seconded!! Anyroadup, who wants to have their dinner so damn early in the evening? He's far too used to having tea with nanny in the nursery, silly old sod.
I'm 100% Yorkshire and my late (Cumbrian) husbing did 90% of the cookery and cleanery (and no, before you ask, it wasn't overwork that finished him orf). As to what happens behind the fridge, he can get knotted...
I hope that he's done irreparable harm to UKIP's already dubious credibility!
