I have done Something to my right shoulder, and it hurts when I do *that* [omnes: "don't do it, then"]. If I stretch my arm sideways, I get a sharp pain, and I can hear all the little bones clicking - sorry, TMI probably. This makes working quite tricky, as that' exactly how I get to the Artpad, but heigh ho.

I suspect that it's tension related; we've had a very tough couple of weeks on a variety of levels, although I can see the light at the end of a tunnel, and I don't *think* it's the train. I was thinking of booking a session with .. what? Physio, chiropracter, osteopath? Not sure what's the best.

any recommendations?

it's not the Artpad - it's been there for years, and I'm well aware of the RSI aspect of such things. I'm careful with my office ergonomics.

I'd say osteopath as they seem to cover much of what physio and chiro's do. I should really book to see one myself as I keep getting neck pain again.

Good - just making sure you were taking care.

I have occasional problems with my shoulders here. What worked for me was a few sessions with a chiropracter and most importantly some physio work - particularly work with dumbbells for the shoulder, and a pilates ball for the spine etc. Going out and walking more also helps.

I dont do the exercises quite as much as I probably should do, but they help when things start to go off again.

Go to physio: they should advise you about ergonomics like positioning of Artpad, good exercise regime, etc to reduce strain and effects of tension

Osteopath.
A few years ago I had a similar problem to the one you describe and my GP sent me to a physio which helped but didn't cure it - it was only when I saw another guy who was an osteopath that it was actually fixed.
