My cat also likes boxes and bags (all except the "Going To The Vet" box that is.) Yesterday he tried to sit inside my briefcase until I closed it - and he sat on that instead.

Aha - the old "disappearing cat" trick!

Do yours do that? We can turn the house upside down, looking for one of ours. Having reached the point of "He/she is definitely NOT in the house!" the missing cat will suddenly appear at our feet, mewling nonchalantly "what's up? what are you looking for?" and, worse - "can I help?"

I suppose it all gets easier once they are all properly neutered and panic is no longer necessary. Unfortunately, Treacle is still Looking For His Other Ball.

Cassie, my skittish cat, adores suitcases. Particularly if the lid or cover is pulled shut but not fastened so that she can peer out between a few millimeters of zipper teeth.
