"WOMEN’S passion for beautiful footwear has long been known, but new research has now confirmed every husband’s worst fear: British women possess £637 million worth of high heels which they have never worn."
Elinor is the Imelda Marcos of the valley (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/asia-pacific/1173911.stm). I bought a shoe rack in the vain attempt to tidy them up... It tidies mine up lovely but then I have tall boots, short boots, work shoes, smart shoes (rarely worn), Sandals and Trainers... thats it. I need no more than that.... but Ellie laughs at such utilitarianism and simply piles shoes on top of other shoes and then boxes on top of shoes and then clothing on top of the boxes so any attempt at tidiness is completely obviated!
Ikea, you have failed me.
I have been guilty of letting the dogs play with some to destruction and then quietly binning them,,, Three pairs have gone this way and she's still not noticed their loss...
