was nice. We try to avoid supermarkets these days, so we pottered over to the posh end of Bedminster and bought fruit and veg at the greengrocer, plus some bits and pieces from the health shop (chick peas, risotto rice, can't remember what else), nipped into Aldi for a look and some waffer thin chickie! for the Tribe. Also took the FTO through the carwash - wish somebody would buy the bloody thing; going to put it on eBay today.

came home and had some nibblings of grapes, fresh peas (for perlmonger) for "lunch", then trundled down to Clevedon to the nice deli to buy some cheese, then ambled down to the sea front and had an ice cream. Managed not to drop any in my camera.

in the evening, we watched last week's Dr Who again, and then the final episode. Wah and wail - I *will* miss Mr Ecclestone :(

now we are melting, and the cats are slumped all over the house. I am not built for these temperatures - somebody make it stop, please.
