4. there's chicken and apricot tagine for lunch


5. perlmonger has cracked his logout code problem, which means we have handed another site over and can bill it next week


6. we're going to see Richard Thompson tonight at Colsonall


7. it's Friday

but, but ... perlmonger doesn't have a black beret! Nor indeed can he play the geetar like Mr Thompson, which upsets him a bit.

Piers did invite us up to go with you all, but as we already had tickets, we declined. Didn't stop us losing them, mind - we will have to go and pay a Stupid Persons' Fee of £1 per ticket this evening.
