we have just returned from the greasy spoon, where we repaired for a fry up to help our hangovers. Last night, we went out to the Bagonails to meet some of the local new media types who inhabit a mailing list we're on.

'twas great fun to meet them, and much beer flowed (I was drinking red wine, and quite a lot of that flowed as well). We'd have been alright had we not encountered Pat and Dave (WANOLJ) as we got out of the taxi - they were on their way to the local. And they asked us to join them - it would have been churlish to refuse.
