agc tomorrow, we nipped (or popped, if you prefer) to Costco to get a few bits and pieces, then over to Waitrose for a few more bits and pieces. Costco had a depressingly sparkly breakout of festering fayre, and people were buying it ... one chap had, I kid you not, an roof-mounted deer with twinkling lights in his trolley. It's 1st October, folks - get a grip.
*yes thank you. It's very nice indeed (this is an understatement, obviously) - and incredibly quiet. Although how anyone can do anything on OSX with only 512Mb of RAM, I don't know ... mind you, I do have a Virtual PC using 160Mb (which is not nearly enough either), but there's another 2Gb coming on Monday. Which is nice.
