THE DISNEY CORPORATION will introduce a Mickey Mouse PC soon, aimed at kiddies who, we suspect would be better off reading books, learning a musical instrument or playing in the park.

The machine is made for Disney by giant Europlayer Medion, and will cost nearly $600 for the base unit and the monitor will cost $300.

But there's some value add in that 14-inch LCD monitor. It will come complete with a pair of Mickey Mouse ears.

You can already get a Barbie laptop from Toys R Us. I don't know what it does beyond games, simple calculations and maybe word processing, but it's Very Pink and Very Barbie.

Cannot stand M. Mouse - never could... Shouldn't let the little buggers near computers until they've proved they are conventionally literate (learning difficulties aside)...mumble/rant/mope...
