Dec. 28th, 2004 12:10 pmour Christmas was nice - quiet, peaceful, with good company and good food. Others haven't been so lucky.
one friend lost a member of his family on Boxing Day, completely unexpectedly. Another friend's mother was rushed to hospital, and yet another dislocated a hip and was taken to casualty.
and then there's the Indian Ocean tragedy - I had to turn the radio off this morning, I simply couldn't bear to listen to any more.
if you have any spare cash, why not send it to one of the aid agencies, instead of going to the sales. We picked the Red Cross, but there's plenty of others - see this post from
