It should be bi-coloured. Red striped with a yellow background or yellow with a bit of pink. It has to be juicy. I want it sweet, and just under three inches.
flickgc was right - it is indeed an apple. And the quote is from a farmer growing apples for Mcdonalds (who are now the biggest apple purchaser in the US, it seems).
