I'm just over half way through, so I'm not reading any spoilers. But this review in today's Observer sums up my thoughts about the book so far.

I think one thing that reviewers seem to ignore, is that the HP books are primarily written for children! - particlarly with reference the the torpid prose, wheeling out the characters again and Harry not being a teenager most parents would recognise.
