watching BBC 2's Coast, I was reminded that I haven't been to the north east of Scotland for many, many years, and had forgotten just bleak and beautiful it is.

a quick check on Easyjet's web site reveals we can get return trips from Bristol to Inverness for about £35 *each* in mid October. I wonder if we can sneak a week off ...

We shall be approx 50 miles from Inverness, the same from Aberdeen - IF we ever get moved in. AB37 9AN will put a ring around us on multimap.
