I actually have 2 x 18" NEC TFTs on this Mac, so I'm going to be sacrificing about 300 pixels, but it's worth it!

... does that mean you have one or two TFT screens "spare" then? I could certainly use one (or two!) on my home music machine (one for the mixer controls, FX plugins etc. and one for the music roll and recording controls)

sorry - replacing ancient 17" CRT with one, and switching the other with the little 15" TFT, which will do fine for running server logs etc.

I don't think my desk will manage the 24" and an 18", but I'm going to try!
