I'd call myself a Christian.

But that's fundamentalism at its scariest...

I went to Bible day camp a few times when I was little. We primarily made little stained glass thingies out of the plastic beads that could be melted with an iron and ate peanut butter crackers. I don't recall having to wear camouflage.

I recently noticed a new bookshop in Croydon and walked in on impulse. The first thing that caught my attention was the music - I'd call it Gospel. The second thing was the rows and columns of identical books, right in front the door. All the books were bibles, of course.

The customers were even more freaky. Grazing pod people. I left immediately.

One of the lines in there is - "Are you ready to give up your life for Jesus?" - Don't comments like that lead to suicide bombers ?
