perlmonger and I cleared out all the boxes and other assorted crap from the little bedroom, and made enough space for a proper midi setup at last - Yahama PSR-730 <-> Edirol UA-20 <-> iMac. I nipped down to Swift Music yesterday afternoon to buy a couple of longer midi cables, where I had a small tussle with the salesman, who seemed to think he needed my name and address to purchase £8.98's worth of cable (clue: he didn't), and we got it all set up and working last night.
downloaded a trial copy of Intuem, and discovered just how steep a learning curve I have ahead of me :)
what with that, and the fabby new Canon G3 camera thatperlmonger bought me last weekend, I'm in severe danger of getting a life!
