fascinating stuff
Jan. 26th, 2003 11:47 pmI'm giving my personal web site a long overdue makeover (don't rush to look at it, there's a lot to do yet, and it's not uploaded). But it's been such a lovely, nostalgic journey ... I've re-read the pages about our wedding, and our honeymoon (back in May/June 1999), and it brought back such wonderful memories - when we were in New England then, we promised ourselves we'd go back in five years, and that's only just over a year away! And we're still together, and happy, which will confound the critics :)
interestingly, when I first wrote the honeymoon trip page, there wasn't that much relevant stuff on the web - now, having checked again today, I've found loads of links to put in; a real example of just how much is out there on that Internet thing now.
in other news, the cats have had a good day. I got up this morning to find cat crap in the bathroom, and a dead mouse by the kitchen door. And when
perlmonger and I returned from Ikeal (don't ask), the golden chaps were roaming up and down the hall in a very interested manner. And the almost inevitable consequence was discovered in the kitchen an hour or so later - a dead mouse. In several pieces [sigh]. I'm afraid I let Pete deal with it (I'm just a gurlie), but there was, apparently, a head, and a tail, and no bits in between apart from some entrails. Lovely ....
