A humble newt fan (2 OMP, 1 2000 (with 2100 ROM) and an eMate) writes... "Hmmph."

(To get the easter egg on a 2.0 series Newton, do an Assist on the phrase "Egg Freckles" (without quotes) It will display a screen with a Doonesbury panel, where Mike Doonesbury is holding a Newton with a caption saying "Egg Freckles?".)
Come on, Mac, that gag is like 8 years old! I mean, it's a good 'un, and not without justice, but... sheesh.
I am also contractually obliged to observe that NewtonOS 2 machines aren't that bad and don't do that. Well, not hardly at all, anyway.
I'm keeping an eye on the websites occasionally. These days, there's both an MP3 player for NOS2 out there, and an ATA device driver. Once they're finished, pop one of the £60 2GB Toshiba PCMCIA hard disks I've seen in places like Morgan's (http://www.morgancomputers.co.uk) into my Newt2100 and I'd have a very capable pocket jukebox. Which is a bit late, as kjersti & I have a Creative Nomad Zen now, but hey...
