I have a yen to start making wine - from fruit and/or veg, or from concentrate. I am a complete novice, so a trip to Waterstones will occur on Saturday (and may the lord have mercy on the bank balance).

Any tips or tricks gratefully received.

There's a shop on the Gloucester Road which specialises in supplies for beer, cider and wine making. They're very nice and very knowledgeable. Even if you don't end up needing to buy anything from them, I think they'd be more than happy to chat to you about it.

Ah, yes. I knew that they had a great name, I just forgot what it was..

I really want to make my own wine but I really don't have space to store it at the moment. Dammit.
