It's fair to say that our local MP, the illustrious Liam Fox, is not of my persuasion.

I am however, quite pleased with the responses from his office this morning:

firstly:

"Many thanks for your email. It is a most alarming Bill. We will make further representations to the Minister concerned. I am going to send you a copy of a letter by post which we were sent on behalf of another constituent which covers some of the points you mention. We will be in touch again when there is anything to report. As you know, the Bill will be debated on Monday and the Opposition will certainly oppose.

and just now:

" This has been emailed directly to the Minister and to the Shadow Secretary for Justice."

This is my first letter to our MP since we moved. Roger Berry had got to the point where I could practially write his replies before I received them. Let's see what Jessica Morden has to say.


Probably, "Sorry, didn't receive it because I use Gradwell as a MTA and they've b0rked YET AGAIN" 8-(
I think I'm shopping for a new web host when I get a minute.

Not enough nines in their 99.999% uptime.

Most of the time you just suck it down, sometimes you need an email there _now_ and a server that won't connect just isn't good enough.

I've certainly stopped recommeding them, no longer add new sites to my hosting there, and really ought to look at moving away (although I've just paid for another full year, so probably won't).
