it seems that we are to be given Michael Howard as Leader of Her Majesty's Opposition. I know I'm not alone in finding this extraordinary. Good leader today in the Guardian, which pretty much sums up my thoughts.

I do have to wonder if the Tory party actually *wants* to self destruct.

Still, from my point of view Michael Howard may be an excellent choice - he'll shake up the conservatives and possibly present credible opposition whilst leaving them completely unelectable.

I dont see myself considering voting Tory in the next decade or so..

I still say we should all vote Lib-Dem: once they get over the intial euphoria, imagine them all crapping themselves in a "now what the feck do we do?" stylee ~:0)
