is the saga of the central heating ever going to end? We thought we'd waved a final goodbye to the plumbers last Tuesday (having given them several lessons on the internet). We had to have them back on Friday because the shower wasn't working properly.

today, we have water dripping through the study ceiling - the new pipework they put in the loft is leaking. If we hadn't been here to put a bucket up there, I suspect the ceiling would have come down - possibly on top of all our machines.

I shall write a post about the weekend later, if only to remind myself how nice it was.

now I am going to wait for the plumber, wearing a Polite smile and carrying a pointy stick.
