... that the Midwich kittens are positively *hypnotised* by the water dripping into the bowl down here. I must get perlmonger to rig up some sort of permanent water dripping feature, as it actually kept them still for, oh, all of four minutes.

Ah, now Minnow also climbs up onto the toilet seat behind me - cold nose on bare skin is not as enticing as she seems to think (though I'm reassured to hear she's not the only cat who does this). She has lately, however, taken to using the quickest route to the back of the seat, such is her need to be there, which involves leaping onto the front of the seat just after I stand up. It tickles but I can't say I derive a great deal of pleasure from this. I'm too preoccupied with wondering if it is really hygienic.
