while roaming around Brissle at the weekend, we wandered past Colsonall, and stopped off to see what was coming up.

we now have tickets for

• John Martyn - 1 May


• Bill Bailey (rah!) - 9 June


• Jools Holland - 21 December

am quite tempted by Jamie Cullum and Katie Melua as well.

I'm in two minds about him, TBH - he was the subject of the South Bank Show on Sunday, and although he is prodigiously talented, I think he needs to mature a little as a musician. I just hope his record company give him time to do that, but I have little hope ...
