The small one is: they offered and I thought she might be a wanderer (no evidence so far, however – just an increasing pile of twigs in the house – is this a cat or a bird?). I doubt the boys would stir long enough to make it worth while but I like the idea of a cat that goes bleep.
Starless has never been chipped - but has never been out (so far) in all his 16 years. When I asked the vet, he didn't seem to think there was much point. Teasle was done automatically by the RSPCA when we adopted him at 11 weeks - he's now nearly 8 - he doesn't go out either, but I'm glad he's done.
No way! The cat clearly wanted nothing to do with its owner and had gone to extraorinary lengths to get away from them - even crossing the country and living a hippy lifestyle in SF until it was rumbled by its evil tagging device. ~;0)
