I thought of this when I read
sbisson's posting about Cyprus, with the snippet about the folding tripod, and thought I'd blog it rather than comment.
we picked up a Pod at Jessops a few weeks ago - a *really* neat beanbag tripod. I think it cost the princely sum of £20, and I might go and buy another one, because I can see
perlmonger and I arguing over it on our forthcoming Ireland trip.
we have all manner of tripods here, and a monopod, but that Pod [not PoD] is just so easy to sling in your camera bag.

Date: 2004-05-19 01:52 am (UTC)of course, it's easy to get to for us - we can fly from our local airport (Bristol) in an hour, or we can drive for 3 hours to the ferry port and go that way.
we're going to be staying at Rosleague Manor (http://www.rosleague.com/) - I'm so looking forward to it.
