perlmonger and I have decided to go and see The Day After Tomorrow this evening. I know it's bound to be crap, but we have a fondness for crap disaster movies.

this is all part of our "get out more" plan, hatched while we were in Ireland. A good start, I think you'll agree. Especially as we have all of series 4 of The Sopranos, Return of the King, and at least four episodes of ER to watch.

We've been having a bit of a "stay in more" hereabouts - Thursday is "Dodgy SciFi on Dave's Boat" (currently Blakes7, we're 3 eps in from the beginning) and Sunday is "Something Funny on Graham's Boat" where we're 2/3rds of the way through The Beiderbecke Affair.

Since at least half the audience has never seen what's being watched and we all chip in a bit of food and drink it makes for a couple of good evenings a week.

The possibility of a mass raid to the local cinema for TDAT has been discussed, probably next week which could be fun however crap it is!
