Well, it's not going to be possible to retro-fit it to older vehicles, and seeing as my 1989 vintage RC30 is still the fastest thing on 2 wheels, I don't mind at all!

And you really think the car manufacturers will pay any attention? BMW will quite happily pull the 155mph limiters on their cars if you ask nicely. Saying "I am tired of being overtaken by Porsches on track days" normally works.

Mind you, it should make trackdays more interesting if all cars on the track have a top speed of 60 mph.

And what happens if someone has an accident as a result of system malfunction? e.g. travelling on motorway, went near a road in a 30 limit and the brakes went on suddenly officer...
