it's an omen

Pete and I have been discussing transport in the last week or so. I fancy getting a camper van type thing, and we are also considering bicycles.

the latter mode was discussed at length last night, and I pointed out that my knees may not be up to pedaling now.

and - with chilling timing - my right knee is more painful today that I can ever remember it being. Arse. And "sod it" to arthritis.

don't think so - want something I can sling on a bike carrier on the back of the car. And I don't fancy being that low.
